Thom Peace is from Washington D.C., USA and has lived in Los Angeles, California; Hampton, Virginia; and Hiratsuka and Tokyo, Japan. He has traveled to France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Canada, Mexico, South Korean and Thailand. His native tongue is English, he speaks conversational Japanese and has studied French, Korean and Chinese.
Thom has a B.A. from The American University in International Studies. In university, he focused on Business Administration, Political Science and International Communications.
Thom has worked as a teacher of English and technology, Work/Study Program Director, a bartender, a musician and an entrepreneur. He is now managing an Education company with offices in Japan and the US.
Thom is now studying investment and FX trading, playing in a blues band in Tokyo and planning international expansion of his education business.

Kevin Parker is from Shrewsbury, Shropshire U.K. and has lived in London, Wales, Yokohama and Tokyo. He has lived in Japan for over ten years. He has travelled to France, Italy, Thailand and Korea.
Kevin has a B.A. in English Literature and is currently studying for a M.A. in TEFL and Linguistics.
Kevin has taught English for over ten years in conversation schools, junior and senior high schools and business colleges. He has worked as an H.R. manager, antique salesman, bartender, musician, DJ and store manager. His native language is English and he speaks conversational Japanese.
Kevin is now studying at graduate school, pursuing his love of cooking and planning for the day he can open his own Jazz cafe.

Shawn Wilenken is from California, USA, grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and most recently lived in San Diego before moving to Japan. He has traveled throughout North America, including Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean islands. He has completed courses in Spanish and German and is now studying Japanese.
Shawn has a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz in Psychology. His main areas of focus and interest included social, humanistic and evolutionary models of study.
Shawn has taught in Japan for nearly two years, including high school, business and conversational English, TOEFL/TOEIC, MBA and other graduate school preparation courses. Prior to teaching, he worked in real estate, insurance, journalism, hotel management and professional baseball.
In addition to language learning and teaching, Shawn is studying international business management, economics and Asian societies. He enjoys exercise and sports, including baseball and soccer.

オーストラリア、メルボルンのディーキン大学卒。国際政治経済学を専攻。
これまでスペイン、そして日本にて英会話講師として活動。また、東京でMBAコンサルタントとして、ヨーロッパ、ロシア、そしてアジア諸国ではツアーガイドとしても活動してきた。一方で世界でも有数の旅行会社にて営業、マーケティング業務に従事。かつてはプロのゴルフキャディーとしてJPGAツアーを回るなど多方面で活躍。

桜美林大学卒(英文学学士号取得)。1年間米国大学留学。TOEIC990点(満点)を2度経験。
英語でのコミュニケーション関連事業に関わること30年。英語講師・コンサルタントCareer15年。専門は「道具としての英語習得法」と「リスニング向上のための英語リズム習得法」。2001年より文部科学省によるスーパーサイエンス・ハイスクール(SSH)でプレゼンテーション講師を務める。

Steven Robertson is from San Diego, California, USA, but with a father in the Navy, he lived in many different places while growing up, never more than 3 years in each place. He did a summer homestay in Hakodate twice during his college years. He has also lived in Italy for a year, and studied French in High School and College for 4 years.
Steven graduated with a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He also took Chorus class throughout his college days, as well as trying many different dance classes.
Steven has taught English in Japan for over 10 years, teaching at a variety of different places including public schools, vocational schools, prep schools, and companies, but enjoys teaching most at small conversation schools like DC English School.
Steven is now crazy about flying RC airplanes and spends most of his free time building, repairing and flying them. He also loves listening to music, watching movies, and driving and is a big F-1 fan.

Although I was living in Australia until last year, since I was raised by a Japanese mother and studied the Japanese language for the past 11years, I am fluent in both English and Japanese.
Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Applied Linguistics (Majoring in Linguistics and Japanese) at Griffith University Brisbane -Graduate Certificate with Full Academic Award in Japanese at A.B. Paterson College -Graduate Certificate Japanese Supplementary School of Queensland -Level 1 Certificate in Japanese Language Proficiency Test
Taught at a language school called- 'Aussie Sensei's Language Centre' in Australia. While working here I had the opportunity to teach English to Japanese customers of all ages.

日本に住んで一年ほど。フランス、ドイツ、ルクセンブルグ、ベルギー、オランダ、オーストリア、チェコ、スイス、カナダ、メキシコなどに旅行。
ヴァージニア州ウィリアム・アンド・メアリー大学で言語学を専攻。慶応大学語学プログラムに参加。
ピザレストラン(Little Caesar’s)やスーパー(Ukrop’s)スターバックスなどで接客の経験あり。また、ボランティアで英語やフランス語を教える経験を持つ。
言語学に関すること全般が大好き。日本語やいろいろな言葉の違いを分析すること、外国語上達、習得ストーリーを聞くこと。

Stephanie Hannon is from Yorkshire, UK and has traveled to more than 40 countries worldwide as a backpacker, volunteer or employee. Her favourite countries are Bolivia, Vietnam and, of course, Japan. She has been living in Tokyo for the last five years.
Stephanie has a B. A. from University of Leeds in European Politics.
Stephanie started her career in higher education and training in the UK. She has volunteered in the post-tsunami disaster zone in Thailand and taken various jobs in Australia and New Zealand ranging from campsite cleaner to compensation court clerk. In Japan, Stephanie has written for newspapers and magazines, however she is now focusing on teaching English and professional training in tourism and business.
Stephanie is currently studying for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. She lives a very active lifestyle and enjoys running, cycling and yoga. Last year she finished the Tokyo Marathon and dreams of being a tri-athlete (but is not a very good swimmer!). Stephanie is very curious about culture and enjoys reading international literature.
“Setting goals keeps life interesting...but only if you can reach them! Work towards realistic goals in health, fitness, work or study and each achievement will keep you positive and push you to the next step. Enjoy the process as much as the end result and life is constantly fulfilling.”

William is from London, England. He grew up in Norwich before studying in Sheffield. Whilst studying for his BA he also lived in Lapland (Finland) for a semester. He speaks British English as well as conversational French and is trying to learn Japanese!
William has a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design from Sheffield Hallam University (UK). His major area of work during this time was on product design, coming up with new ideas and making prototypes. He also focussed on marketing as a part of this course.
William has worked as a senior booking consultant at an international travel company, as well as a bar manager, and session musician in London. It was in London that he began teaching English and gained his CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) qualification.
William still enjoys writing and playing music, as well as doing as much cycling as possible around Tokyo. He is a creative person who enjoys studying Japanese, and understands the challenges of learning a new language.
